چکیده
Background Sepsis is common in cirrhosis and often a result of immune dysregulation. Specific stimuli pathways inter-cellular communications between cells sepsis are incompletely understood. Immune cell-derived extracellular vesicles (EV) were studied to understand mechanisms cirrhosis. Methods EV measured patients [Child-Turcotte-Pugh (Child) score A, n = 15; B 16; C 43 Child-C with (n 38)], healthy controls (HC, 11). In vitro vivo functional relevance associated was investigated. Results Monocyte, neutrophil hematopoietic stem progressively increased higher Child (P < .001)and correlated liver disease severity indices (r2 > 0.3, P .001), which further than without sepsis(P .001); monocyte showing the highest association stage [P .013; Odds ratio-4.14(1.34-12.42)]. A threshold level 53/µl predicted mortality [Odds ratio-6.2 (2.4-15.9), AUROC 0.76, .01]. from cirrhotic compared sepsis, induced mobilization arrest monocytes within 4 hours .004), reduced basal oxygen consumption rate .001) pro-inflammatory genes .05). The septic-EV on adoptive transfer C57/BL6J mice, sepsis-like condition 24 h leukocytopenia .005), intrahepatic inflammation CD11b + .03) bone marrow hyperplasia .01). Conclusion Extracellular induce impairment circulating contribute development perpetuation sepsis. High levels correlate can help early stratification sicker patients.

Kalirin and CHD7: novel endothelial dysfunction indicators in circulating extracellular vesicles from hypertensive patients with albuminuria
Despite of the great advances in anti-hypertensive therapies, many patients under Renin-Angiotensin- System (RAS) suppression develop albuminuria, which is a clear indicator of therapeutic inefficiency. Hence, indicators of vascular function are needed to assess patients' condition and help deciding future therapies.Proteomic analysis of circulating extracellular vesicles (EVs) showed two prote...

Lysozyme association with circulating RNA, extracellular vesicles, and chronic stress
BACKGROUND Stress has demonstrated effects on inflammation though underlying cell-cell communication mechanisms remain unclear. We hypothesize that circulating RNAs and extracellular vesicles (EVs) in patients with chronic stress contain signals with functional roles in cell repair. METHODS Blood transcriptome from patients with Irritable Bowel Syndrome versus controls were compared to identi...
متن کاملEXTRACELLULAR VESICLES AND THEIR THERAPEUTIC APPLICATIONS: A REVIEW
Background & Aims: Extracellular vesicles are double phospholipid layer vesicles releasing from several cells. These particles contain bio-molecules including mRNA, miRNA, DNA, proteins, and lipids which play a pivotal role in the cell to cell communication. Once delivered, they participate to change target cell function, fate, morphology, differentiation, and growth. The present study is a re...
متن کاملLow 25-Hydroxyvitamin D Levels Are Associated with Infections and Mortality in Patients with Cirrhosis
BACKGROUND & AIMS Vitamin D, best known to regulate bone mineralization, has numerous additional roles including regulation inflammatory pathways. Recently, an increased incidence of 25-hydroxyvitamin D3 (25(OH)D3) deficiency has been found in subjects suffering from liver diseases. We here investigated if low vitamin D levels might be associated with prognosis, inflammation and infectious comp...
